Children’s cooking Classes on A Train!!
Parents, sign your kids up for fun while you enjoy time to shop or relax.
Ages 5 to 8 and 9 to 12, class space is limited
$75 per class per child, class time: 2.5 hours
Each 2.5-hour class includes an overview of cooking techniques, tools, safety, flavor profiles, spices, kitchen science & math, manners, navigating recipes, games, prizes and more plus fun, fun & more fun!! All students will bring home some of the goodies they make in class and the recipes so they can make them at home.
NOTE: due to the rising cost of food and talented staff, we will not issue refunds for any reason. But, if you have someone to take your place, we would love to have them!

December 15th Sunday 2024
We will make sweet and savory Crepes! We’ll learn all about eggs and Crepes, make a sweet fruit filling and a delicious savory filling.
Class 1: 10am to 12:30 age 5 – 8
Class 2: 2 to 4:30 age 9 – 12
December 21st Saturday 2024
Make and decorate sugar cookies! We’ll cutout cookies, work with buttercream frosting and learn how to scramble eggs and cook the perfect French Omelet!
Plus make and eat: a French omelet!

December 22nd Sunday 2024
Make, fill and decorate cupcakes! We’ll learn flavor combinations, how to fill and decorate cupcakes. We’ll also learn about root vegetables and why they make great soup.
Plus make and eat: Lemon Orzo Soup!

December 28th Saturday 2024

We will make mini–Chicken Pot Pies and fluffy candy Pies! We’ll learn all about a rolled dough and what kind of fillings make yummy pies.

Wow your family and friends! In this Italian inspired, fun, hands-on pasta class you will learn about flours, gluten and how to make and cook a delicious pasta meal from start to finish! We will discuss flavor profiles, make two different sauces, and have selected wine parings. You will also get to take home fresh pasta to cook at a later time!!

Learn skills to host a fun elegant holiday party!
Setting up a basic bar with signature drinks and easy specialty drinks, we will try samples. We will make and try 2 light and one hearty appetizer. Learn how to set up your home or party space for grazing and mingling. From the beginning to the end of the party, we will cover how to handle spills, keeping the flow going and wrapping it up. Leave with the confidence to host a small gathering or a large soiree!
